Many special devices (gaming systems, blu-ray players, televisions, etc.) have wireless capability built-in allowing them to connect to a wireless signal. If not, and if they have an ethernet port (RJ-45), then you may need to purchase a wireless ethernet bridge adapter.
As with most things, many different manufacturers and models are available. For gaming systems, you may want to consider purchasing one built specifically for your particular system. For other devices, a universal adapter is the way to go.
